Will there be another event like this? If so I would love to come down. I unfortunately didn’t hear about it until it was too late. I live in Boston and would need some time to plan to get back down to Virginia.

I knew Scott in high school and I liked him very much. If there will be another event like this, I can help draw some attention to it. I work for Beeradvocate.com. I can get breweries to sponsor the event and things like that.

Thanks to everyone for helping us make this happen. For months now I’ve felt the overwhelming need to do *something*, and now it seems we’ve started something larger than ourselves. Scott and I organized various kinds of “events” over the course of our youth (some more successful than others) and I knew this would have to be done in that spirit. To that end, if nothing else, we succeeded – and have been given the opportunity to help many others as a result. Whatever comes, I know this will burn brightly. I look forward to seeing all of you (and more) the next time around, when ever and where ever.

I had an amazing time, it was both sad and uplifting at the same time, and once again i managed to feel close to my friend Scott by being around his family and friends. I feel like i can never do enough to celebrate what an amazing person he was. Thank you Scott, for bringing us all together, and thanks to everyone for being there and lifting a glass in his name. We honor him in our actions and in our memories.

Ed, Marti, Kevin, Christy and thanks to Sean, Suzy and Linda – we were following the great event from afar and so glad that all went well. When talking with Ed on Saturday afternoon the excitement in his voice was so clear – what a great event… what a wonderful way to honor Scott and help out the Yellow Ribbon Fund. So glad it happened and that we could play a part from afar. People here in Puerto Rico who do not even know our family were asking how the evening went! Would be great to have another one next year – perhaps we can make that! Missing Scott and loving all of you – Susan and John
